Ardsley Park Pet Sitter was founded by AJ Hetzel. From that, grew Pet Portraits by AJ.
AJ really found synergy with these two ventures - Pet Sitting & Custom Pet Portraits.
It all began with a love for animals. To AJ and her husband Cody, they are more than pets, they're a part of someone's family.
Pet sitting is a team effort for AJ and Cody to ensure each visit goes perfectly. When she isn't caring for a pet, AJ spends a lot of time adding a spark of life to a pet portrait.
Cody helps out with the Pet Sitting, but steers clear of the pet portraits - unless someone wants a "stick animal".

We Are AJ & Cody!
An entrepreneurial couple for years, AJ is finally getting to focus on her two passions: Pets & Art. Being able to care for someones furry family member brings such joy to her heart. When given the honor to paint a pet portrait, she taps into her artistic talent to capture the spirit of the pet! During the week she also volunteers time at Coastal Pet Rescue to help care for the cats and dogs before they get adopted.
Cody, when not helping with some pet sitting, is working on a few web based projects. One of which is adding the skill of building websites. (how’s he doing?)
Married since 2010, these two still have puppy dog eyes for each other. AJ grew up in Ardsley Park and now she and Cody own their own home there. You’ll frequently see them walking around the neighborhood (especially with dogs!). They enjoy riding bikes, playing ping pong, throwing darts, and getting together with friends.
